STT GROUP in Nagorno-Karabakh

Russian military engineers continue reconnaissance and mine clearance in the areas of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh: on the routes between peacekeeping observation posts and public roads.

Specialists also inspect and conduct demining near settlements and social infrastructure facilities. Discovered ammunition and explosive objects are taken to the landfill, where they are destroyed by detonation. Ammunition that cannot be evacuated to the landfill is destroyed on site.

One of the stages of work on the survey of the area for the presence of explosive objects is the study of the positions on which stationary posts will be built to serve by Russian peacekeepers.
